AR Review: - no ARs New items: - Roy emailed the group about updates to his "Correlation of Models Simulations And Measurement" presentation - There was some discussion of where Roy's presentation might be presented. - Bob suggested that Roy may need to reduce the length. Continued review of IQ specification: - 3.1.4. {LEVEL 3} [Package] parasitics are validated against data sheet - Kim: asking to validate against the model is circular if this is the model - Bob: what is the reader supposed to do with this? - Bob: it's like [Ramp], not used if better data present - Bob: wants [Package] to cover all pins column by column - Kim: don't use power/ground pins for max [Package] - difficult to get actual power parasistics - multi-port analysis is required for these complex structures - Moshiul: level 2 check so don't need power/ground - Kim: Remove this check alltoger, add language to 3.1.2 - Kim, David, and Moshiul do not include power/ground pins in [Package] - We voted to remove 3.1.4 and add language to 3.1.2 - It should be descriptive, not prescriptive. AR: Kim write new language adding 3.1.4 recommendations to 3.1.2 AR: Mike update spec with Kim's input, remove 3.1.4 - 3.2.1. {LEVEL 2} [Pin] section complete - Bob: Some analog pins can be stubbed as terminators - 555 timer has a capacitor pin, for example - make this a terminator - Roy: IBIS is a means of data exchange - We should not make assumptions about how it is used - Roy has analyzed crystal pins described in IBIS - Kim: - It is beyond our scope to prescribe in much detail how to treat these. AR: Mike update 3.2.1 to be less prescriptive for analog pins.
